lllegal Electricity Connections In Johar Baru Raided

Central Jakarta Administration cooperated with  State-owned electricity company (PLN) raiding illegal electricity connections in the density populated area at Johar Baru Sub-District, Wednesday (3/25). It was conducted to anticipate fire that caused by electricity short circuit. Moreover, Johar Baru Sub-District is one of the fire prone areas in Central Jakarta.

The Mayor instructs to raid those illegal electricity connections for minimizing fire case

Johar Baru Sub-District Head, Ihsan Rofiq Sururi stated, the point of prone electricity thefts in Johar baru Sub-District reached hundreds. such deviation is not only conducted by street vendors even many buildings which have the construction permit did it.  

City Cooperates with PLN to Hold Electricity Raid in Pejagalan

"The Mayor instructs to raid those illegal electricity connections for minimizing fire case," he said, Wednesday (3/25). 

Regional Manager of PLN Cempaka Putih , Vick Nawan claimed according to the newest rules of PLN since 2012, only houses which have construction permit can be powered the electricity.

"We did not issue permissions if it against the rule. For those illegal electricity thefts, we will cut off the power," he exclaimed.
